{"id":303,"date":"2010-12-17T15:20:21","date_gmt":"2010-12-17T15:20:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.crimsoniv.co.uk\/beta\/"},"modified":"2011-05-05T10:09:00","modified_gmt":"2011-05-05T09:09:00","slug":"thermography-for-buildings","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.crimsoniv.co.uk\/beta\/thermography\/thermography-for-buildings\/","title":{"rendered":"Thermography for Buildings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The building sector offers the largest single potential for improving energy efficiency, and therefore the EU has formed a directive for <\/strong><strong>Energy Performance of Buildings<\/strong> <strong>(<a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/energy\/efficiency\/buildings\/buildings_en.htm\" target=\"_blank\">European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, EPBD<\/a>),\u00a0that became mandatory within the EU for all new buildings and\u00a0large construction\u00a0during 2008.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Infrared thermography is the easiest and quickest method to detect energy waste, moisture and electrical issues in buildings.\u00a0 An infrared camera shows exactly where the problems are and helps focus the surveyors&#8217; attention allowing him or her properly to diagnose areas with energy loss, excess moisture, flood damage or electrical problems.<\/p>\n<table width=\"100%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"120\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"margin-top: 5px;
